The natural population increase was negative in nine cantons of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina last year, and only positive in the West Herzegovina Canton. In 2025, 15,387 children were born in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, while 20,541 people died in the same period, so the natural population increase during that time was minus 5,154.
