As reported by our portal, Trump Jr. was initially scheduled to arrive in Banja Luka on April 9, but he may already land tomorrow. During his stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he is expected to hold meetings with officials of the ruling parties in the Republic of Srpska. According to information obtained by Klix.ba, the main reason for his visit is potential investments by companies controlled by or collaborating with Trump Jr., who took over the family business after Donald Trump returned to the White House in January of last year. Recall that Trump Jr., along with Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, who now holds a high diplomatic position in the Trump administration, had plans for investments in neighboring Serbia, specifically for the construction of Trump Tower in Belgrade. However, due to numerous issues related to this investment, primarily alleged corruption involving Serbian authorities, this investment has been suspended for now. Recall that the authorities in the RS spend huge amounts of money on lobbying in the U.S., and this effort has resulted in the lifting of sanctions for top officials of this entity, as well as the ruling SNSD. Regarding Trump Jr.'s visit itself, according to information from Klix.ba, it came about due to connections between Igor Dodik, the organizational secretary of the SNSD and the son of the party president Milorad Dodik, and Matan Adelson, an Israeli-American entrepreneur and son of Miriam Adelson, who financed the campaign of the current U.S. president with huge donations.
