Gold was won by Anja Tešević, who achieved an excellent 6th place in a competition of 160 European students, while Ajla Ćuprija performed excellently in her first international competition and was adorned with a bronze medal.
The Association of Mathematicians of the Sarajevo Canton explained that both students are in their third year and will have the opportunity to qualify for EGMO next year as well.
"In our team were also Amila Pašić and Farah Demirović, bronze medal winners at EGMO 2025. The team leaders were Adisa Bolić and Imana Alibašić. We congratulate the students and leaders on the excellent result," stated the Association.
They thanked the Ministry of Education of the Sarajevo Canton, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Tuzla Canton, and the Center for Advanced Studies for their financial support in attending the olympiad.
