The anniversary comes after a year in which the Museum significantly expanded its work, both through the growth of its collection and the development of peace and educational programs.
As part of the central program on Tuesday, researchers from Palestine and Ukraine will join the Museum in Sarajevo to present how new items from current conflicts continue to enter the collection. Their participation will provide visitors with a unique opportunity to learn firsthand more about the process of documenting childhood in war.
The Museum will also host guests from the Netherlands, South Africa, and Portugal to discuss international development and future collaborations. At the same time, children and youth from Bosnia and Herzegovina will participate in presenting the Museum's peace program, which is currently being implemented in over 50 communities across the country.
In addition to talks and presentations, the program includes a series of workshops and educational activities for various age groups, including: โ Peace-building workshops for high school students โ Educational activities for children and youth with visual impairments โ An international peace-building workshop โ Workshops with peer educators โ Creative workshops for preschool-aged children
The program will be held daily at the Museum (Logavina 32) from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with individual activities scheduled throughout the week.
