Metropolitan Hrizostom emphasized that the resurrection of Christ is not merely a historical event, but a miraculous mystery of salvation for humanity and all of God's creation. "The Lord, through His resurrection, bestowed upon humanity a great blessing and the grace of spiritual renewal. With His resurrection, the Lord has saved and continues to save humanity and all of mankind from the bondage of sin, death, and the devil," highlighted Metropolitan Hrizostom. He added that the joy of Easter has been overshadowed by sad and tragic events in the Middle East, and that the sorrow over the suffering of innocent people, women, and children tears at Christian emotions. Metropolitan Hrizostom conveyed that instead of wars, diplomatic solutions should be sought for all global problems. "It is deeply sorrowful to see the holy city of Jerusalem appearing desolate and eerie this year, as never before in history. We pray to God to bring peace to this world, to grant it peace through reasonable people—politicians, or those who will not misuse the will of their people but will act for their good in every place," emphasized Metropolitan Hrizostom. He condemned violence against people and nations, appealing for dialogues, conversations, and diplomatic solutions instead of wars. "God expects us, above all, in His name, to respect and love every person, regardless of who they are or what they are like. We pray to God for the peace of the world and its salvation," stated Metropolitan Hrizostom. The Metropolitan of Dabrobosna highlighted that for Christians, the fullness and meaning of Easter lie in the person of the risen Lord Jesus Christ. "Let us rejoice, celebrate with all of God's creation, which in its own way glorifies the resurrection of Christ together with us.
