Mirsad shared joint photos with his son Anel and daughter-in-law Marijana on Facebook, officially confirming their reconciliation after a very turbulent public conflict that dominated Bosnian media headlines.
The photos of the smiling family together clearly show that the disagreements have been left in the past.
Recall that the relationship between father and son came into the media spotlight after Anel went through a turbulent period, which culminated in his withdrawal from the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.
Everything escalated with harsh words that Mirsad directed at his son, with the main target of his attacks being Anel's wife.
Mirsad had previously directly blamed his daughter-in-law, Montenegrin Marijana Mišić, for all of Anel's professional and private problems. She had changed her religion and converted to Islam for love of the footballer.
The accusations Mirsad made public at the time were extremely severe and shocking. He went so far as to publicly accuse his daughter-in-law of "saddling" his son with a child that allegedly wasn't his, advising Anel to definitely get a DNA test.
Additionally, he claimed that Marijana had "cast black magic" on Anel to manipulate him, and in his sharp outbursts, he did not spare Marijana's mother either.
