Grok is an integral part of X, formerly known as Twitter, and is often used to, among other things, verify the truthfulness of a claim or clarify a post that is not fully transparent. However, in some cases, users have asked Grok to direct insults or negatively describe certain public figures, which particularly bothered a minister from Switzerland. She initially wanted to sue the X user who gave the command to Grok, from which the offensive message originated, but that user could not be identified. Therefore, Keller-Sutter decided to sue xAI, saying that she simply must resist such attacks. "We must fundamentally defend ourselves against such misogynistic statements. This post is not an expression of freedom of speech or part of a political debate, but a humiliation of a woman," stated her office in a statement to Politico. Recall that Grok has already caused a huge problem for Musk's X earlier this year. At the beginning of the year, X users often asked Grok to generate explicit photographs, sometimes even of minors. This led to an investigation launched by the European Commission, and soon users were banned from asking Grok to generate such photographs.
