Through the lens of Milomir Kovačević Strašni, Paris is shown from a new perspective. As he states, with this exhibition he brings a Paris that is felt, lived, and experienced. "I am proud to be able to present the exhibition here in Sarajevo, a city that welcomed me and somewhat adopted me. I came to Paris with nothing. I came from darkness and war. Photography was what kept me alive, giving me the strength to continue working and creating. I progressed, my first laboratory was in the bathroom at Collegium Artisticum," said this photographer. Speaking about Paris, Milomir Kovačević Strašni emphasizes that it is a beautiful, photogenic, and open city where he does not feel like a stranger. "In Paris, there are people who love art, photography, they are very similar to our people. I am grateful to everyone who welcomed me there and helped me. The entire exhibition was done using old techniques, meaning all are analog photographs. Also, the exhibition is conceived so that each room has a different theme. I tried to capture the spirit of Paris in 40 photographs," he conveyed. The French Institute in Bosnia and Herzegovina previously noted that through this exhibition, one can see from the timeless Louvre to the silent silhouettes of mime artists, all the way to the Parisians who make up the soul of this city. At the same time, this exhibition will be the first permanent photography exhibition at the French Institute in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
