In addition to Minister Lakić, the meeting was attended by representatives of the companies BNT TMiH and Pretis, as well as representatives of the TRZ Hadžići trade union. The main topic of discussion was the current, unenviable situation in which the company finds itself, but also the definition of concrete steps that will lead to its long-term recovery.
The focus was placed on actively involving and supporting domestic industrial capacities to keep the company alive.
"TRZ is not in a great situation, but that does not mean there are no solutions. On the contrary, today we have shown that there is the will and concrete partners to lift this company and return it to the place it deserves within the specialized industry of the Federation of BiH," said Lakić.
The minister emphasized that bankruptcy is not an option and reminded everyone of the recent positive example of saving another giant of the specialized industry.
"We will not allow TRZ to go down the path of bankruptcy and shutdown. As we demonstrated in the case of Zrak, here too we want to make a turnaround, from problem to solution. Our goal is clear: a stable company, secure jobs, and the development of domestic industry," Lakić was categorical.
As concluded at the meeting, in the coming period, through strict coordination between the relevant ministry, the Government of the Federation of BiH, and domestic partner companies, work will be done on developing a concrete recovery model. This model should enable the repositioning of TRZ Hadžići as an important and relevant entity in the growing sector of BiH's specialized industry.
Representatives of the TRZ workers' union welcomed these activities. They expressed gratitude to the Government of the Federation of BiH for its engagement and to the relevant ministry, emphasizing their belief that through joint efforts, a solution will be found that will bring much-needed security and stability to the workers.
