At that time, he said that although the project is led by the American company AAFS, BH Gas will continue to develop. The minister first announced the signing of a contract between the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the investor, which will occur after thoroughly establishing all the details of the contract, as he stated, with the aim of protecting the interests of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina while efficiently implementing the project. He emphasized that the domestic energy company BH Gas will provide the technical documentation it has available, and in return, the investor will compensate them appropriately for the documentation. He then stressed that the arrival of this investor does not mean the destruction of BH Gas. "BH Gas continues to be an essential part of the energy system of Bosnia and Herzegovina; it is not stopping its operations and will continue to develop in a way that it has received the obligation to finance the reversibility of the existing transport system. BH Gas also needs to build the western and northern interconnections. It remains part of the gas pipeline system and is expanding its network," Lakiฤ conveyed. He also highlighted that the Law, which is on today's agenda of the House of Representatives, protects the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and that in case of any problems or plans to change the ownership structure, the parliament must make a decision or give approval.
