Dubai has the advantage in head-to-head matchups against direct competitors Barcelona and Red Star, although they are at a disadvantage in the mutual record against Monaco and Panathinaikos. All four mentioned teams currently have one more win than Dubai, with two rounds left in the regular season.
On the other hand, Turkish giant Anadolu Efes is recording disappointing results this season. They are only in 19th place in the table with 11 wins and 25 losses, and they come to Sarajevo completely unburdened and without result pressure.
It is precisely this fact that Bosnian national team player Dลพanan Musa, who recently recovered from an injury and is ready to welcome the season's finish, sees as the biggest danger.
"We have to approach every game as if it's a final. I think Efes has nothing to lose, and those teams are somehow the most dangerous to play against. We really have to approach it as if it's a final because two wins, if I'm not mistaken and if another result aligns for us, will definitely secure us a spot in the top ten," emphasized Musa, adding:
"It's really important for us to play these 80 minutes in the remaining two games with maximum concentration and try to achieve both victories. I hope that if we accomplish everything we planned in training, we will succeed."
Musa does not hide that qualifying for the playoffs would be the crown of the season and an opportunity for the team to show their teeth to absolutely everyone.
"Our primary goal at the start of this season was winning the ABA League and entering the top ten in the EuroLeague. If we achieve that, I think it will be a great season for us. Anything beyond that is a bonus. We really hope and expect that, even if we enter the top ten, we can challenge everyone. But, as I said, the primary goal is the top ten, and everything else is a bonus," our basketball player was clear.
The Dubai vs. Anadolu Efes match will be played tonight at the Zetra Hall, starting at 8:00 PM, and a live television broadcast is secured for all viewers on Arena Sport channel.
