As part of the event, a film about the employment of marginalized social categories was also presented, symbolically marking the completion of the first phase of the project aimed at enhancing employability and social inclusion. The employment program focused on members of the Roma community, women with no prior work experience, long-term unemployed individuals, young people entering the labor market for the first time, as well as pre-retirement individuals. Since the start of implementation in June 2024, six companies have been involved in the project, with five actively participating. Results show that a total of ten people were employed, with eight still in employment, and the majority of participants also received on-the-job training. The project was implemented with financial support from Caritas Switzerland and the Municipality of Kakanj. The event was attended by numerous citizens, students, members of the Roma community, as well as representatives from political and public life. This event confirmed the importance of connecting with the goal of strengthening social inclusion and creating new opportunities for vulnerable population categories.
