Responding to a journalist's question about the blocked Reform Agenda and a recent statement by Christian Schmidt, who said he could not explain to the Austrian president why Bosnia and Herzegovina has so much money at its disposal but does not use it, Konaković did not hide his frustration.

The head of BiH diplomacy directly called out the high representative, emphasizing that the reasons for the blockage are more than obvious.

"This topic is increasingly irritating me. I am also increasingly irritated by that Schmidt who says 'I couldn't explain.' What couldn't he explain? That there is an SNSD owned by the Russian Federation that blocks the interests of Bosnia and Herzegovina? It destroys the interests of citizens living in the BiH entity of Republika Srpska. It uses destructive tools enabled by Dayton. Putin is defeating the European Union in the heart of Europe, and they don't understand something and can't explain it," Konaković sharply stated.

The minister emphasized that there are healthy and progressive European forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina making maximum efforts to unblock processes, but they regularly face a wall when "the finance minister from SNSD comes and halts and blocks everything, because he can."

Konaković particularly criticized the narrative of European officials who persistently insist on finding "political will," ignoring the real geopolitical problem in the country.

"And then we hear Europeans saying, you need political will. I call on them once again to stop misinterpreting events in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We have a party working in the interest of the Russian Federation, not in the interest of Serbs in Bosnia and Herzegovina or the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. They should stop being surprised. They should look in the mirror and ask themselves what they can do to counter Putin's influence in the heart of Europe. If they can't do anything, they should tell us. And now, they don't know how to explain, it's becoming really frustrating," he concluded.

Regarding the blocking of the House of Peoples, Konaković underlined that the delegates doing so are breaking laws and that the high representative should be the only person to adequately respond to it.
