As mentioned at the promotion, this is a story about loss, strength, and love, about how the deepest pain can be transformed into action and push boundaries in society. The book is highly inspirational and a testament that everything is possible in life.

Ines Kavalec, founder and director of the Association Give Us a Chance, did not leave the association when her twenty-year-old son Denis lost his life battle in August 2022. No one would have blamed her for leaving, as it would have been considered a completely understandable act for a mother faced with the greatest and irreplaceable loss, yet she stayed with the Association, continuing the fight for other children with developmental difficulties. Her pain ultimately gave birth to something positive.

"The book speaks about the strength of love, the fight for health and life. Love is the only meaningful thing we do not enslave ourselves to," said the promoters.

This is a story about a mother and her son Denis, a person with developmental difficulties, the life she shared with him while fighting for his health and life, and all the battles that broke her as a mother but did not shatter her. It is a testament that sorrow can grow into meaning thanks to love as the most powerful driver.

"I am sure this work will help many and inspire them that it is possible to continue living for our dearest ones who leave us, to love life, and to be an inspiration and strength to others," said the author.
