"There is nothing a liar hates more than uncertainty. They want you to immediately accept the lie. They want to 'package' it and have you say: 'Yes, I understand.' They want you to 'buy' it right away," he stated on TikTok.
When the other person does not agree to that, it will bother the liar.
"When you say: 'You know what, something just doesn't seem right to me. Something is off. We can come back to this later.' People who tell the truth say: 'Okay, no problem.' The truth doesn't need an excuse," he explained.
According to his words, the reaction of those who do not tell the truth is usually much more intense:
"People who do not tell the truth will say: 'What do you mean? Do you think I'm not telling the truth? Are you saying I'm a liar?' And they will further 'amplify' it. People who tell the truth, they are completely fine with all of that."
He described how interlocutors often respond in such situations. He says they will most often say something like: "Take your time. Yes, I'll gladly tell you exactly what happened. You can talk to this and that person."
He also added that liars have a hard time dealing with prolonged clarification.
"People who lie don't like when things drag on. They need everything immediately," he said.
