While political representatives of Republika Srpska are celebrating, in Sarajevo there is quiet speculation about whether Donald Trump Jr. was paid $100,000 to come to the city on the Vrbas River and hold a panel discussion, or if he truly arrived on a friendly basis at the invitation of Igor Dodik.

As we have already written, even if he was paid, it is an excellent marketing move by the ruling structure of Republika Srpska, led by the SNSD. And if he arrived on a personal invitation from Dodik Jr., then it confirms the excellent personal connections that Igor Dodik has through his friendship with Matan Adelson, the son of one of the world's wealthiest individuals (Miriam Adelson) and one of the largest donors to Trump's campaign.

As Klix.ba learns, at the gathering of SNSD members with Trump Jr. and his team at the Dodik family estate in Bakinci near Banja Luka, the relaxed conversation mostly revolved around business, potential investments, and natural resources.

Trump was presented with the potentials possessed by the BiH entity of Republika Srpska, particularly minerals of interest to Americans and energy potentials.

The lunch in Bakinci took place in a relaxed atmosphere, and what yesterday's event in Banja Luka brought is additional political positioning for Igor Dodik.

Igor welcomed Trump Jr. and his wife at the airport, delivered a speech at the panel discussion in Banski Dvor, and then also took the lead in Bakinci, where the guests focused their full attention on him.

Milorad Dodik this time stayed quite in the background, allowing his son to take the lead and gradually take over the reins. Neither did the member of the BiH Presidency, ลฝeljka Cvijanoviฤ‡, stand out yesterday.

For a long time, there has been a strong current within the SNSD that sees Igor Dodik at the helm of the party after his father steps down, or if the court, according to the verdict, strips him of the function of party president as well.
