Lamija Šabović, a representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina and a member of the Taekyon Martial Arts Club from Sarajevo, particularly stood out, winning a silver medal with impressive performances in the junior under 45 kg category. She reached the final with dominant victories over opponents from Ukraine, Ireland, and Hungary, confirming the continuity of top results following last year's world bronze.

Dženana Bilić from the Taekwon-do Club Bosna Cazin also delivered an excellent performance, convincingly reaching the final in the junior under 49 kg category by defeating opponents from the Netherlands, Spain, Slovenia, and Ukraine. In the final, she secured a silver medal, further confirming the quality of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian national team.

Danina Durić, also a member of the Taekwon-do Club Bosna Cazin, won a bronze medal for Bosnia and Herzegovina in the junior under 65 kg category. With victories over competitors from Scotland and Ukraine, she confirmed the continuity of success after last year's bronze at the European Championship in Sarajevo.

A valuable result was also achieved by the pre-junior representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the Taekwon-do Club Sloga-Prodamont Doboj, who won a silver medal in forms (II dan).

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national team is competing at this major event from April 12 to 19, with a total of 36 competitors across all age categories—pre-juniors, juniors, and seniors.

This year's European Championship gathered a record 966 competitors from 32 countries, with a total of 1,453 entries across various disciplines, further confirming the exceptionally strong competition and significance of this sporting event.

The results achieved already on the first day clearly show that Bosnia and Herzegovina has a generation of young athletes ready to compete on equal terms with the best in Europe and continue achieving top results on the international stage.
