The Jeep Avenger has already become a true sales hit for the brand in Europe, particularly on the Italian market. However, the company decided that the compact crossover could benefit from a bit more visual aggression and sophistication. The result is the new Black Edition series with an expanded list of standard equipment.

The Altitude trim was used as the basis for the new special version but has been significantly reworked in terms of styling. As the name suggests, black is the focus. The Jeep Avenger Black Edition has discarded bright details in favor of dark elements; the brand logos and model name are now in dark black. The same applies to the 17-inch alloy wheels, which have received a specific black finish.

The interior continues the aforementioned philosophy: the center console is now completely black, and the seats are upholstered with a combination of fabric and premium vinyl. This not only looks restrained but is also practical for everyday use.

Despite its imposing appearance, the Avenger Black Edition technically remains an urban crossover. Buyers are offered two powertrain options. The first is a "mild" hybrid with a 1.2-liter engine, developing 110 hp, and for full electrification enthusiasts, a 156 hp version is available.

Both versions come standard with the Selec-Terrain system with six driving modes and Hill Descent Control. Although this is not a "true" off-roader, these systems help the driver feel more confident on slippery roads or during light off-road driving.

For those who need more than the basic package, there are options such as JBL audio, a Winter Pack with heaters, or an electric tailgate with a "hands-free" function.

The price of the Jeep Avenger Black Edition starts at โ‚ฌ29,700 for the hybrid version, while the electric crossover costs significantly more, starting at a minimum of โ‚ฌ40,900.
