This information was shared by Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF) General Director Dyab Abou Jahjah on his X profile. HRF, established in 2024, brings together lawyers and activists from around the world to build cases against Israeli soldiers based on content the soldiers themselves shared on social media. Jahjah previously stated that HRF has filed a complaint against a commander with the International Criminal Court in The Hague. Daniel Ella, commander of the 52nd Battalion of the 401st Brigade, was severely injured in combat in Lebanon today. He leads the battalion responsible for the killing of Hind Rajab. We have filed a case against him before the ICC. pic.twitter.com/wSJddX773L During Israelโ€™s offensive, Hind was trapped in a car for hours, pleading with Palestinian medics over a mobile phone to send help, while her aunt, uncle, and three cousins were already dead. When an ambulance finally arrived, contact with the girl and the rescuers themselves was lost. Twelve days later, the bodies of the girl, her relatives, and two paramedics were found in the area.
