Italian Crippa and Ethiopian Demise celebrated at the Paris Marathon.

The men's race was incredibly tense, with only 10 seconds separating the top three finishers. Crippa, originally from Ethiopia, celebrated with a time of 2:05:18, setting a personal best in the marathon. Second place went to Ethiopian Bayelign Teshager, trailing by 5 seconds, while Kenyan Sila Kiptoo finished 10 seconds behind the winner. In the women's competition, Ethiopian Shure Demise achieved a fantastic success and broke the course record, which now stands at 2:18:34. Second place was taken by her compatriot Misgane Alemayehu with a time of 2:19:08, and third place went to Kenyan Magdalyne Masai with a time of 2:19:17.
