A new series of Iranian missile strikes early Saturday intensely targeted Israel, from the Tel Aviv area to al-Naqab in the south. Following the attack, the destruction of multiple structures, large fires, and power outages were reported in numerous settlements.
Israeli media state that successive waves of projectiles were launched from Iran toward central areas and al-Naqab, including Beer al-Sabe', while powerful explosions shook the ground.
Simultaneously, the extent of damage caused by the morning attacks was confirmed, with Israeli Radio and Television announcing that missile fragments fell at 17 different locations across seven settlements in the central region.
According to Israeli media, a building in Ramat Gan completely collapsed after a direct missile hit.
Police sources cited by Haaretz confirmed that a facility in the Ramat Hovav industrial zone in southern Israel was also struck. This location is reported to have been targeted twice in the past five days.
Meanwhile, the Times of Israel reports that a major fire broke out in the Beer al-Sabe' industrial zone following the Iranian attack, while another building in southern al-Naqab sustained significant damage. A direct hit was also recorded in the central area, in Rosh HaAyin, and missiles were seen over Givat Shmuel.
Sirens sounded throughout Tel Aviv and surrounding areas. Channel 12 reports damage from fragments and missiles in Petah Tikva, Bnei Brak, and Givatayim, with Magen David Adom emergency teams dispatched to affected sites amid panic among residents.
As Iranian missiles struck Israel, Israeli media criticized the failure of the air defense system to intercept the projectiles, many of which hit targets in central and southern areas.
In Israel, 120 people have been injured in the past 24 hours during the conflict with Iran. The Israeli Ministry of Health states that a total of 7,084 injuries have been recorded during the current attacks, including 120 in the last 24 hours. Since October 2023, the total number of war-related hospitalizations has reached 83,830.
The rise in injuries comes amid intense Iranian retaliatory strikes targeting key locations in the occupied Palestinian territories, as part of Operation "True Promise 4," launched in response to U.S.-Israeli attacks on Iran.
