The navy spoke out shortly after the U.S. president threatened to bomb Iranian power plants if Tehran did not open the Strait of Hormuz to the passage of all ships. "The Strait of Hormuz will never return to its previous state. Especially for the United States and Israel," wrote the Naval Command of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard on social network X. They also stated that they are preparing for a different order in this part of the world. "The Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard is completing operational preparations for the plan declared by Iranian authorities for a new order in the Persian Gulf," they announced. Incidentally, Trump gave Iran a 48-hour deadline to open the Strait of Hormuz and stated that if this is not achieved, Tuesday will be the day when the U.S. military will bomb numerous power plants in Iran as well as bridges, warning that Iran would thereby return to the "Stone Age."
