According to police information, he shot a 51-year-old woman and then attempted suicide. Emergency services transported him to Sisak Hospital for treatment of his injuries, where he later died. Sisak police, in cooperation with the Sisak prosecutor, conducted an investigation at the crime scene. After autopsies are performed on the deceased spouses, the police and prosecutor's office will complete the case as a femicide.
