He emphasized that he is the architect of Luka's development because when he was in the seventh grade, his parents and coaches told him that his son was not talented for basketball and that he should turn to drama or chess club. He was slow, not athletic, but through hard work he made it to the NBA and the Boston Celtics jersey, where our national team player does not plan to stop.
"Last summer, our goals were to gain at least 4.5 kilograms of muscle and we wanted to improve hand speed by 300%, which I think we have proven," said Frank, adding that he has a plan for Luka's progress.
"You will see a guy on defense who can move his feet like a dancer and have the hand strength of a martial arts master. Secondly, you will see him attacking on offense. Can you imagine Luka blocking a player, then dribbling and shooting for three points like Sam Hauser, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, or our other shooters?"
This 27-year-old was born in Washington and has played in the NBA for Detroit, Minnesota, and now Boston. He was selected in the second round of the 2021 NBA draft as the 52nd pick. He plays for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team as a naturalized player.
