One public call pertains to capital transfer programs to other levels of government and funds in the amount of 2,750,000 BAM. Of this amount, 1,800,000 BAM is planned for co-financing programs to enhance tourism infrastructure aimed at improving offerings and developing tourist destinations.
For supporting projects contributing to the development of sustainable tourism at destinations of broader natural and cultural-historical significance for the Federation of BiH, including the reconstruction, rehabilitation, and improvement of facilities and sites, as well as the preparation of project documentation, 550,000 BAM is planned. An additional 400,000 BAM is allocated for the procurement of equipment to enhance tourism. These funds will be allocated to beneficiaries following the public call.
The second public call relates to current transfer programs to other levels of government and funds in the amount of 2,610,000 BAM. For the program supporting events of international significance, 1,200,000 BAM is planned, while 500,000 BAM is intended for events contributing to the development of domestic and local tourism.
Additionally, 450,000 BAM is planned to support the introduction of new air and railway lines aimed at tourism development, while 310,000 BAM is allocated for promoting and strengthening specific forms of tourism offerings. These funds will also be allocated following the public call.
Furthermore, in cooperation with international organizations, part of the tourism offerings will be strengthened for the development of sustainable and competitive agritourism in rural areas of the Federation of BiH, in collaboration with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and with Caritas, for strategic support to inclusive and climate-resilient development of tourism corridors in the Federation of BiH.
