As confirmed to us, following discussions held in recent days and meetings and coordination to define all the technical and organizational conditions necessary for playing the match at the EuroLeague level, a decision has been made.

On that occasion, it was specified what needs to be done in the upcoming period to fully prepare the Zenica Arena for this international match.

The basketball club Dubai, which due to the current situation in the Middle East is playing its home games in Bosnia and Herzegovina, initially considered holding the match in Sarajevo.

However, the Zetra and Skenderija halls were not available for April 17 due to a furniture fair taking place in Sarajevo from April 16 to 19, after which the City Arena "Husejin Smajlović" in Zenica was chosen as the solution.

In the coming days, technical preparations and adjustments to the arena are expected to begin so that all conditions for the match between Dubai and Valencia are met on time.

This match will also be one of the larger international sporting events held in Zenica in recent years. This match is also the final round of the regular season of the EuroLeague this season.
