He confirmed that he is entering the electoral race with the ambition to win. "I will address the citizens directly, and we are entering this competition with the intention to win," he emphasized. He added that he is counting on broader support: "On the votes of all citizens of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina who want to finally see some changes here," says Efendić. Speaking about the current mandate, Efendić criticized the decisions of the BiH Presidency member Denis Bećirović. "We believe that the Presidency member from the Bosniak ranks made a big mistake at the beginning of the mandate. The consequences of the wrong decision to agree to the game of HDZ and SNSD and appoint their chair of the Council of Ministers, even though it could have been formed without them, have lasted throughout these four years," Efendić stated. Speaking about possible coalitions after the elections, he clearly ruled out certain options. "I must say that, first and foremost, it is not the Troika and it is not the SDP, because their moves have harmed the country. They made a marriage with HDZ and SNSD in the worst possible way, even though they spoke differently. Any coalition is futile if we are not in a position to create the direction of the process, government programs, and define what needs to be done," said Efendić. He confirmed that the Party for BiH will not support the proposed amendments to the law on the Southern Gas Interconnection, citing a series of contentious elements. "The way this material is proposed is very strange. Dragan Čović was against the participation of BH Gas, and now it seems he has succeeded. It is not good to change the law under such pressure. We now have a new proposal for amendments and additions to the law that excludes BH Gas from that proposal, and for that reason and many others, we believe it is not a good solution," said Efendić. He particularly problematized the inclusion of a private company without references. "It is very strange that you put the name of a company in the law that has no references, that was formed a year ago, and has no such projects behind it," stated Efendić, who also expressed doubts about possible political connections and the lack of transparency in the process. One of the key problems, according to him, is the treatment of state land. "The Federation Government says that the company that will build this interconnection will not have to pay for state land. Practically, it is being given for free," he emphasized. He warned that this could have broader consequences and that it would mean that the RS Government, following the example of the FBiH Government, could try to allocate state land to whomever and however it wants. "Such projects should be led by the Council of Ministers, not left in this way. It is unclear whether it is a concession, who will manage, and how the system with multiple operators will function," he believes. Commenting on the departure of party members in certain areas, Efendić said that these are expected processes. "In political parties, these are natural processes; there have been certain disagreements among our members. When you introduce new people, conflicts with old structures arise, and that is expected," says Efendić. He also emphasized that changes are happening in organizations that have not had significant results: Responding to accusations about the influence of SDA and the way the party is managed, he said: "The situation is actually reversed. There is no influence whatsoever. The Troika influenced two representatives, and that will be best seen through their further political engagement. They supported certain acts of the Federation of BiH Government without a decision from the party's bodies," said Efendić.
