On the eve of the funeral itself, a commemoration was held at the Belgrade City Assembly, attended by numerous figures from the world of sports. An emotional farewell to the great man concluded with the tune of "I Only Remember Happy Days" by the legendary Croatian singer Gabi Novak, which was one of his favorite songs.

The final send-off for the great expert was attended by many famous names, primarily from the world of basketball. Among those present were former stars such as Predrag Danilović, Žarko Paspalj, Moka Slavnić, Vlade Đurović, Ivo Nakić, Vlade Šćepanović, and many others.

Alongside basketball legends, tribute to Vujošević was also paid by the leaders of the Partizan Football Club, including President Rasim Ljajić and Vice President in charge of sports affairs, Predrag Mijatović.

Among his numerous trophies, he notably won 12 championship titles of SFR Yugoslavia/Serbia and Montenegro/Serbia with Partizan, as well as five ABA League titles with the black and whites.

Besides Partizan, which he coached in four terms, and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, Vujošević also led OKK Beograd, Mladost Zemun, Oximesa, Crvena zvezda, Brescia, Pistoia, Pesaro, Radnički Beograd, CSKA Moscow, Limoges during his rich coaching career that began in 1982, and he ended his career at Cluj in 2021.

While leading Partizan from 2001 to 2010, he simultaneously coached two other national teams—Serbia and Montenegro in 2003, and Montenegro from 2007 to 2010.
