"It is difficult to watch and listen to condemnations of my colleague Komšić, especially because with one or two ordinary and logical questions he has exposed and pointed out, as many times before, the hypocrisy of yet another in a series of politicians in Bosnia and Herzegovina," said Delibašić.
He added that when Komšić does this, he does not look at religion or nationality.
"He genuinely and equally addresses them all, without preference for what they are called or which entity they are from. I say this because I know you can ask him how heartfelt and open he is toward neighbors and the neighborhood," he added.
He is certain that Komšić would be happiest if Vukanović had said, 'Yes, I will cheer for BiH,' and added that it is his country and that he has lived there for 300 years.
"He would send a message to all citizens of BiH from the RS entity who cheered for BiH against Italy, that it is okay and that they are not traitors because of it. He would show that he is ready to remove mental barriers and barricades and stand behind his policy, which is most often conceived on the basis of moving forward together. I have no doubt that such action would not harm him in any way," he said.
As he says, in situations where BiH is not participating (in some competition), he would cheer for Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia...
"I think my colleague Komšić would respond the same way. Attacks on Zvonko are attacks on common sense, journalistic ethics, and professionalism, but above all, they illustrate a difficult and gloomy rhetoric in the political mud of our country. The attacks are directed at a man whose every question has the ambition of improving conditions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as improving the atmosphere of everyday life for ordinary people. Every question is phrased with good intention. Unfortunately, it is the answers that divide and separate us. For decades! The answers, words, and misdeeds of those who should be the best among us," he said.
He emphasized that he is "horrified and disgusted" by every attack on Zvonko Komšić.
"I feel a moral need to condemn all those evil and manipulative languages of professional blockers of any development in BiH, who will remain silent and turn a blind eye to real injustice, while childishly 'defending' someone who has not even been attacked. Shame on them!" he concluded.
