The delegation of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina includes Federal Minister of Energy, Mining, and Industry Vedran Lakiฤ, and Federal Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees Nerin Dizdar.
Incidentally, the delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the visit to the United States is led by the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zukan Helez.
During the official visit to the U.S., the delegation of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will hold talks with representatives of the U.S. State Department, the Department of Commerce, and the state of Maryland. Additionally, participation in the Roundtable on Institutional and Economic Pathways for U.S. and BiH Engagement is also planned.
The delegation will discuss with their hosts further enhancement of cooperation in the field of security, strengthening institutional ties, and continuing the development of partnership between the United States and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
It is planned for the Federal Government delegation to also participate in activities marking Bosnia and Herzegovina Day in Maryland.
The delegation of the Government of the Federation of BiH began its visit to the U.S. with a meeting with the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the United States Sven Alkalaj, and a meeting was also held with a senior official of the U.S. Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs Brendan P. Hanrahan.
Among others, the BiH delegation also includes representatives of clinical centers.
