On this occasion, today in Sarajevo, this significant date was marked in an event organized by the Public Institution Center for Education, Training, and Rehabilitation "Vladimir Nazor." Participants in the activities included employees of the Center, parents, students from the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation at the University of Sarajevo, as well as numerous guests and representatives of institutions.

The event was attended by many guests: Senada Salihović, Director of the Institute for Pre-University Education; representatives of the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo; Adela Velagić, Assistant Chief; and representatives of the Ministry of Health, including Ana Ilić, a dental specialist and professional advisor for the organization and functioning of healthcare, as well as Arina Bejdić-Kršo, D.D.S., Assistant Minister for Social Policy.

Also present were Miralem Dedović and advisor Smaragda Lučkin from the Ministry of Social Work, Policy, Refugees, and Displaced Persons, as well as children from the Public Institution "Children of Sarajevo," along with teachers and students from elementary schools in the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo.

The commemoration was realized through the donation of a bench to the citizens of Sarajevo. The bench was provided by sixth-grade students of the "Vladimir Nazor" Center, who raised funds by selling creative items made during free activities. They previously presented their works to teaching staff and parents, who purchased them and thus directly supported this initiative.

As a symbol of support, participants wore blue clothing items and brought flowers. Upon arriving at the bench, each participant placed their flower in a vase beside it.

This activity represents an example of inclusion, creativity, and collective action, sending a strong message about the importance of supporting individuals with autism.

A message is highlighted on the bench: "When you sit here, remember that understanding and support can change someone's world."

In this way, a powerful message was sent that every child, regardless of their difficulties, contributes to the beauty and richness of the community—just as every flower contributes to the beauty of a bouquet.
