Why, she says, does it seem as if he is trying to present to the public that both the European Union and Christian Schmidt are part of his personal political inventory.

Cvijanović also noted that it is particularly interesting to observe the way in which Konaković, as she claims, returns "favors" to those who have "coddled and tolerated his political outbursts for years and softened their consequences."

She added that as elections approach, Konaković is increasingly constructing a parallel political reality in which he wants to show that he has influence over decision-making processes.

"But there is also a need to explain to his public that not only the joint institutions but also foreign representatives are there to serve his political desires. Truth be told, they have coddled him," Cvijanović wrote on X.

According to her, such a display of self-confidence would be, she states, more convincing if it were not backed by personal frustration and political panic.

Recall, Konaković addressed the public after the 108th session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he commented on the statements of High Representative Christian Schmidt and the European Union's stance toward blockades that, according to him, come from the SNSD.

Konaković particularly criticized Schmidt's statement that he could not explain why Bosnia and Herzegovina has significant funds available but does not use them, arguing that it is a matter of political blockade and the influence of the SNSD, which, he claims, acts against the interests of the state.

He conveyed that there are European and pro-reform forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but they constantly face blockades, and he accused certain actors of, as he said, using mechanisms that halt processes and reform agendas.

Konaković further criticized the positions of some European officials, emphasizing that too much insistence is placed on "political will," while, in his opinion, the actual political problem and Russia's influence in Bosnia and Herzegovina are neglected.
