In a post on the social network X, Čović congratulated Magyar on what he described as a convincing victory. "Sincere congratulations to Péter Magyar and Tisza on yesterday's convincing election victory. As Bosnia and Herzegovina continues on its path, I look forward to strong cooperation and good relations between our governments and our peoples in the coming period," Čović said. Similar congratulations were earlier extended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković. "We look forward to a new chapter in relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Hungary, based on mutual respect, genuine partnership, and shared European values," Konaković wrote.
