In recent months, Republika Srpska has been paying lobbyists in the United States with budget funds, which has led to the lifting of sanctions against Milorad Dodik and his associates.

The question arises whether budget funds were also used to pay for the visit of Donald Trump Jr., who appears publicly as a political commentator and businessman, as well as a frequent guest at conferences and events worldwide, charging for his services.

Donald Trump Jr. does not have a single official agency that exclusively represents him. His speeches are most often booked through so-called "speakers bureau" networks. These are intermediary agencies that connect organizers and well-known speakers.

One of them is All American Entertainment (AAE), which acts as an intermediary between conference organizers and speakers.

Trump Jr. charges between $100,000 and $200,000 for in-person event appearances, and between $50,000 and $100,000 for online speeches. His topics include real estate, marketing, business, finance, economics, and politics.

The son of the U.S. president can also be "booked" for speeches through the Speaker Booking Agency, with prices starting at $100,000 and above.

There are several other similar agencies, such as Jan Jones Worldwide Speakers Bureau, through which Trump's appearances can be arranged.

It is important to note that this is not the first time Trump Jr. has visited the region. During 2024 and 2025, he visited Serbia multiple times, where he met with President Aleksandar Vuฤiฤ‡ and participated in business and political events.

The visit was announced as a potential for investments, and during his address today in Banja Luka, Trump Jr. primarily focused on cryptocurrencies and artificial intelligence. He also commented on the elections in Hungary and expressed support for Prime Minister Viktor Orbรกn.

It should be noted that before the visit, Igor Dodik stated that Trump Jr. came at his invitation and that the visit was not paid for.

"Donald Trump Jr. is coming to Banja Luka at my personal invitation and on a friendly basis. This visit has nothing to do with any fabricated arrangements," Dodik emphasized.

Dodik added that today's visit by Donald Trump Jr. is the result of years of work by Republika Srpska on "building relationships, trust, and alliances with people and addresses around the world that advocate for a policy of common sense."

Nevertheless, the visit of Donald Trump Jr. to Banja Luka should not be viewed as a merely protocol or symbolic episode because, regardless of whether it was paid for, it involves the son of the American president.
