The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has revoked the right to nominate candidates in the upcoming elections for 40 political parties.

The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has initiated a procedure to determine the responsibility of political parties for failing to submit their annual financial reports for 2023. Following the conducted procedure, it has made a decision to impose an administrative measure of deprivation of the right to stand as candidates in the upcoming elections for several political parties.

This administrative measure by the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been imposed on the following parties: Democratic Party of Persons with Disabilities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbian Renewal Movement of Republika Srpska, Liberal Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatian Party of Rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosnian-Herzegovinian Free Democrats, New Civic Initiative Kozarac, Independent Party of Dr. Mihajlo Tovirac, New Force of Bosnia and Herzegovina, People's Party New Town, Advanced Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Economic People's Movement of Bosnia and Herzegovina, List for Bugojno, Party of Just Policy.

The said measure has also been imposed on the following parties: Democratic Family Party, Left Strike, Social Democratic Front of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Movement for a Better Brčko-Đapo Mirsad, Alliance for Old Town, Strength of the Center, United Progressive Party, New Party, Authentic Croatian Party of Rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatian Peasant Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Original Serbian Progressive Party, New Bosniak Movement, Original Serbian, Alliance of Young Forces, Independent Bosnian-Herzegovinian List, Alliance for Survival, Alliance of Communists of Yugoslavia, Ecological Libertarian Movement, Independent List Positive Živinice Story, Patriotic Front of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Socialists SPS, Croatian Homeland Movement of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Alliance of Democratic Forces, Rescue Party, Ecological Democratic Party, and Our Story of Republika Srpska.

The Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina has also concluded to suspend the procedure for two political parties - the Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina because it rectified the deficiency during the procedure, i.e., submitted the annual financial report for 2023, and for the political party For a Better Goražde, which was deleted from the register because it has not been active for an extended period.

Furthermore, the Central Election Commission has initiated a procedure to determine the responsibility for the political party Return of the Written-Off, for which the conditions for making a decision have not been met, and an appropriate decision will be made once the conditions for this political party are fulfilled.
