The president of this commission, Branislav Borenović, spoke regarding this decision, emphasizing that what is likely the most significant hearing to date is being initiated. The main focus will be on the accreditation process, the operations of higher education institutions, and suspicious diplomas that directly undermine the educational system and public trust.

A special focus, according to Borenović, will be placed on the operations of certain private higher education institutions that train medical personnel.

"We have seen and experienced all sorts of things as a society, but the existence of private medical faculties producing the most sensitive professions—doctors—under very suspicious, strange, and controversial circumstances is an alarm that no one can ignore any longer," Borenović stated.

He warned of the far-reaching and dangerous consequences of such phenomena, stressing that the problem has long since spilled beyond the framework of the education system itself.

Borenović emphasized that this is no longer just about education, but a direct threat to people's health and lives.

"If a diploma is questionable, so is the profession, and the citizens pay the price," the Commission President was clear.

In conclusion, he stated that it is high time to put an end to the long-standing abuses in higher education. As he noted, the goal of this public hearing is to finally bring order to the system and establish clear accountability for all those who, through their actions or inaction, have allowed such phenomena to occur in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
