According to court documents, the former spouses have taken new legal steps following their divorce, with documentation suggesting that Affleck transferred his share of a luxury property in Beverly Hills. The couple purchased the villa in May 2023 for $60,850,000 and had been trying to sell it since July 2024, with several price reductions. The former couple quietly amended their property division settlement, originally filed in January 2025 when their divorce was officially finalized, and on April 9, they submitted a new order modifying certain terms. According to updated documents, Lopez will be solely responsible for all costs associated with any future sale of her share in the Wallingford residence, including but not limited to broker commissions, applicable taxes, closing costs, and the like. It is also stated that a transfer of ownership will occur at some point, though it is not specified when the property will be relisted. Lopez signed the document on March 31, while Affleck did so on April 1, further indicating that the actor relinquished his ownership share. Sources told TMZ that Affleck essentially gave up his portion of the property for free, leaving Lopez the opportunity to retain any potential profit from the sale. This is a luxury property in the Beverly Crest area with 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms, which was delisted on January 26, 2026. During that period, photos showed moving trucks parked in front of the villa, though it is unclear what exactly was happening on the estate. The property was initially listed for $68 million, about eight million more than its purchase price. "Ben and Jennifer Lopez have lowered the price of their Beverly Hills villa by eight million dollars less than they paid for it, but that means nothing to Ben. He just wants this sold so he can cut the last tie that keeps him and Jennifer intertwined," a source said. After a failed sale and over a year without a buyer, the villa was delisted in July 2025. It was later relisted in September for $52 million but was reportedly removed from the market again after four months. Meanwhile, both have purchased new properties. Affleck bought a $20 million apartment in Pacific Palisades in August 2024, near his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Lopez purchased a $21 million house in Calabasas in February after finalizing the divorce. Despite this, Lopez reportedly continued living in the Beverly Hills villa during the renovation of her new home. "Jennifer is renovating the house to her liking. Sheโs spending a lot of money because itโs big. Thereโs the main house, a pool house, and a guest house," a source said. As a reminder, Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024, on the second anniversary of her marriage to Affleck.
