According to NASA data, the Orion spacecraft will reach a maximum distance from Earth of about 252,760 miles, with that moment expected around 7:07 PM Eastern Time (ET).
This mission represents the first astronaut flight to the Moon in over 50 years and is a crucial step in the program to return humans to the Moon.
