The Ariel Atom 4RR is available to order for ยฃ208,000 plus taxes, with the British manufacturer stating that "quantities are extremely limited."
Like the original Atom, the 4RR is track-focused but road-legal. Additionally, the latest version draws more inspiration from the first model than perhaps any previous variant. Immediately noticeable is the 4RR bodykit, which evolves the design seen on the Atom V8. It features front and rear wings in Formula 1 style, custom carbon fiber side intakes, plus an intake above the two racing seats.
All of this is complemented by adjustable twin-tube รhlins dampers, 310mm two-piece ventilated brakes from AP Racing with four-piston calipers, and what is described as a "motorsport ABS" system, adjustable across 11 different stages.
The "heart" of the Ariel Atom 4RR is its 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine sourced from Honda. This may not sound as glamorous as the 3.0-liter engine in the Atom V8, but it still boasts a redline of 8,200 rpm and is paired with a 6-speed sequential manual gearbox capable of clutchless shifts.
In its most powerful configuration, the 4RR's engine, in a car weighing under 700 kg, produces 532 horsepower, giving it a power-to-weight ratio of over 780 horsepower per ton. As a result, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds, and reaching 160 km/h takes an additional 2.7 seconds. This makes the 4RR the fastest Atom ever.
Although the Atom 4RR is designed for both road and track use, buyers can opt for an even more race-oriented setup. This includes a limited-slip differential, as well as electronically controlled dampers. Even a motorsport-approved roll cage is available, along with built-in air jacks for tire changes.
