After more than 30 years of editing Vogue, Anna Wintour graced the cover of this fashion magazine alongside Hollywood star Meryl Streep.
For the Vogue cover shoot, Wintour chose a red dress with black details, which she paired with unusual sandals and pieces of jewelry. Meryl Streep opted for a dark blue suit and a white shirt for the occasion, completing the look with black high heels.
Incidentally, in the film "The Devil Wears Prada," Meryl Streep plays Miranda Priestly, the arrogant editor of a fashion magazine, and it is believed that her character is based on the traits of Anna Wintour. The film "The Devil Wears Prada" is based on the novel of the same name by Lauren Weisberger, who was Wintour's assistant at Vogue.
In an interview, Wintour said it was a great honor to be portrayed by Meryl, and when asked how she would feel about swapping jobs with Streep, Wintour replied that she has no talent for it.
"I have absolutely no talents. I can't sing, I can't dance, I can't act, I'm useless with my hands. I can't cook, and I certainly can't sew," she stated.
The premiere of the film "The Devil Wears Prada 2" arrives in theaters next month.
