The Channel 13 research showed 37 percent of Israelis believe the nation's strategic position has improved, while nearly the same proportion, 34 percent, think it has worsened. The polls serve as a sharp warning to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, especially in an election year, after he repeatedly attempted to portray an image of victory over Iran and promised to "change the face of the Middle East."
