In the +84 kg category, Bostandžić reached the final with an impressive series of victories. As the top-ranked competitor in his group, he first defeated Italian Fabio Mazzoleni with a score of 2:1, and then convincingly beat the formidable Kazakh representative Dias Ulbek with a score of 11:1.
He confirmed his excellent form in the elimination phase of the competition as well. In the quarterfinals, he outperformed Azerbaijani champion Asiman Gurbanli with a score of 4:0, foreshadowing another major result. In the semifinals, he faced another Italian representative, Michele Ciani, whom Bostandžić defeated with a score of 3:1, securing his place in the final.
It is worth noting that the Karate1 Premier League is the highest level of world karate, where only the top 32 fighters in each category have the right to compete. This will be Anes's third final in his highly successful career so far.
Once again, Anes is accompanied by his coach Denis Muhović, who supports him from the sidelines, advises him, and provides immense support on the path to another great achievement.
The final match for the gold medal is scheduled for tomorrow.
On the other hand, another representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Neira Sipović, will compete tomorrow in the bronze medal match.
