New details have emerged from the fire that involved a building near QSUT, resulting in damage to 71 apartments. Top Channel journalist Dorjana Bezat reports that the police have secured security cameras from businesses around the market where the fire is suspected to have started. According to footage, around 16:30 on Tuesday, a child is seen playing at the back of the market, on the first floor of the building. Near the facade, there were piled-up cardboard boxes. The moment the fire ignited is not clearly visible, but the minor stands near them for a few seconds. Immediately after leaving, smoke begins to emerge in the area. The flames spread rapidly, initially activating in the market premises and then involving the entire facade of the building, causing significant material damage and panic among residents. The operational hall was notified of the incident at 16:50.
