A massive fire engulfed a 12-story building on Tuesday afternoon in Tirana, as firefighters battled the flames for over 3 hours. Preliminary data suggests the fire started on the lower floors and quickly spread to the top floor through the external facade. Regarding the situation that alarmed hundreds of residents, engineer Romeo Nazarko has also responded. While publishing a request for information addressed to the Parliament concerning the burning of the facade of another building in Tirana, Nazarko stated that this was a forewarned event. "We have warned about this situation, but they continue irresponsibly not to listen. The worst part is that even engineers don't listen when they take on some leadership position," writes the engineer.
