Prime Minister Edi Rama has responded regarding the fire that broke out on Tuesday afternoon in a building near the Mother Teresa Hospital. Through a post on the platform "X," Rama made it known that the damaged building will be 100% rebuilt by the construction company itself. The head of the government also expressed gratitude to the firefighters and law enforcement forces, praising their work as heroic in dealing with the situation. "The building that burned yesterday in Tirana will be 100% rebuilt by the builder itself, despite preliminary data indicating that the cause of the fire has no connection to the construction itself! Because we cannot leave only the affected people with damage to their property, and on the other hand, taxpayers cannot pay for a loss that should be covered by insurance—a meaningful case for everyone to understand that home insurance against disasters is necessary. In any case, I tell all the affected families to feel at ease from this side and I wish them only health, while wholeheartedly thanking the firefighters and law enforcement forces for their heroic work in saving all the endangered lives," said Rama.
