A fire has engulfed Mount Koshnicë in Skënderbegas of Gramsh this Saturday afternoon. The fire burned a forested area, while the intervention of the fire brigade brought the flames under control after several hours. In the appeal addressed to the residents of Skënderbegas village, the Gramsh fire department recalls the severe situation the country faced last summer, when several houses and significant forested areas were burned. "Wasn't last summer enough?! Burned houses... charred forests... lost property in just minutes! Today, history risked repeating itself. Thanks to the immediate intervention of the fire service, the fire was stopped in time. A single spark is enough, a moment of carelessness burns everything. Do not light fires in nature, do not burn waste. Do not risk everyone's lives and property! This is an urgent call to every resident of the Skënderbegas administrative unit: Exercise maximum caution! Because fire shows no mercy," said the fire department in its statement.
