Renowned actor and comedian Pete Davidson shared a heartfelt confession about his battle with addiction and his journey to rehabilitation, revealing the moment that prompted deep reflection on his life.

Davidson explained that everything changed during a video call with his mother while he was in a rehabilitation center. "It was a very difficult conversation," he expressed, adding that during "family week," he heard for the first time how much he was hurting his loved ones.

The most powerful moment came when his mother told him, "Every morning I wake up fearing I'll receive news of your death." These words, according to Davidson, "completely shook me" and became the turning point.

He admitted that his initial reaction was negative. "At first, I reacted badly; I didn't want to accept it," he said, but later understood the seriousness of the situation. "I realized that this was my reality."

The comedian also spoke about a painful emotional contrast: "She was living in a house I bought with money that didn't come from a good place," referring to his period of addiction.

Reflecting on the past, Davidson expressed, "I wasn't ready for a stable life or a healthy relationship."

Today, he says everything has changed. After the birth of his daughter, Scottie Rose, he sees life differently: "She is the reason I want to be better every day."

He added that his priorities have now shifted: "My career and what others think no longer hold the same importance. I just want to be a present father."
