Prime Minister Edi Rama convened the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party of Albania this Tuesday, where he shared several direct messages with the socialists regarding the country's political and economic priorities.
Focusing on economic developments, Rama emphasized the positive perception that, according to him, is being created among the public: "When speaking about Albania's affairs, unlike before when discussing the economy, one can feel from the atmosphere in the room that there is an acceptance of the fact that the economy has entered a path that gives everyone hope that there is only improvement," he expressed.
He added that the issue of wages is also directly reflected among citizens: "When talking about wages, it is very clear that people are able to immediately verify it for themselves and for others around them."
Regarding European integration, the head of government described the objective of membership in the European Union as the greatest challenge: "This is the challenge of challenges not for us, but for a political force that holds the fate of the country in its hands, for us to close a series of chapters of history by sealing Albania's European belonging and ensuring Albania's membership in the European Union."
Finally, Rama addressed the elections and the internal organization of the party: "We have entered this process to completely energize the Socialist Party in function of the local elections. Because we have only ourselves ahead, the challenge we have to accomplish our mission."
