The government decided in today's meeting to support small and medium enterprises with 100 million lekë. The decision was announced by the Minister of Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj, at the conclusion of the executive meeting. "The third act relates to support for small and medium businesses; we approved a fund of 100 million lekë, which will be allocated to support small and medium enterprises," stated Ibrahimaj. She also said that by government decision, the administration will eliminate paperwork and all bureaucratic practices will be moved online. In today's government meeting, the Minister of Education, Mirela Kumbaro, announced the approval of the decision to distribute free new textbooks for fourth and fifth grades, extending this practice to all primary education. "With today's decision, we approved funding from the state budget for free new textbooks for the fourth and fifth grades of primary education. They were already free for the first, second, and third grades, and with today's decision, we added funding from the Ministry of Education of about 43 million lekë for free textbooks every year for the fourth and fifth grades. This concerns about 9,000 students, and in terms of the financial aspect, also their families who will benefit from free textbooks, without burdening their budgets and without having to use second-hand ones," said Kumbaro. Regarding the Mountain Package, the Minister of State for Local Government, Ervin Demo, stated that priority areas within the Mountain Package framework have been approved in four municipalities. According to him, these are the municipalities of Sarandë, Kuçovë, Gramsh, and Tropojë, which have joined the process of identifying priority development zones. "The number of applications in the territory has significantly increased and has now exceeded 500, also due to the fact that new municipalities are being added every week," he expressed.
