The perpetrator of the murder of 48-year-old Artur Cangu in Fushë Krujë gave his first testimony before the investigative group, where he confessed the dynamics of the event. Sources report that the perpetrator initially stated that there had been a verbal conflict between them, after which, according to the perpetrator, Artur Cangu struck him with a small hoe on the arm. Following this, the perpetrator declared that he took the rifle and shot the 48-year-old, leaving him dead. Immediately after committing the crime, the latter notified the Police, informing them of the crime committed, and then left. He was arrested within 24 hours of the incident in a place called Bruz Mal in the Krujë Highlands, where he was hiding in this remote area. According to sources, at the moment of arrest, Afmataj did not resist the Police forces, while the weapon used in the crime has not yet been found.
